Windows Desktop App

T-Sketch is available as a native Windows desktop application. It gives you a dedicated app in the taskbar and Start menu, native window controls, auto-updates, and deep linking — while running the same web application you already know.

Download for Windows

Requires Windows 10 or later (64-bit).

You can also download directly from the GitHub Releases page.

  1. Run the downloaded .exe installer.
  2. The installer runs silently and creates a Start menu shortcut. No administrator privileges are required.
  3. Open T-Sketch from the Start menu or taskbar.

Features

The desktop app provides a native Windows experience on top of the full T-Sketch web application:

  • Taskbar and Start menuT-Sketch appears in the taskbar and Start menu like any other app
  • Native window — standard Windows title bar with minimize, maximize, and close controls
  • Native menu bar — File, Edit, View, and Help menus with standard Windows keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl instead of Cmd)
  • Auto-updates — new versions are delivered automatically; the app checks for updates every 4 hours
  • Deep linkingtsketch:// URLs open directly in the desktop app
  • Native file dialogs — export and import use the Windows Save/Open dialog so you can choose where to save your files
  • Keyboard shortcuts — zoom in/out, undo/redo, and all other shortcuts work the same way as in your browser
  • 8 GB memory limit — higher than the default browser limit, allowing you to work with large and complex sketches

Auto-Updates

The desktop app checks for updates every 4 hours. When a new version is available, the update is downloaded in the background and applied on the next app restart. Your work is not interrupted.

Because the desktop app loads the web application from sketch.tronor.com, most improvements are reflected instantly without needing a desktop update at all. Desktop updates are only required for changes to the native shell itself (menu bar, window behavior, etc.).

System Requirements

  • Windows 10 or later (64-bit)
  • Internet connection required — the app loads sketch.tronor.com

For full browser and device requirements, see System Requirements.
